After reviewing research from more than 30,000 people, the American College of Sports Medicine came to a refreshingly simple conclusion:
You don’t need to make strength training complicated.
Fancy techniques? Optional.
Training until you physically cannot do another rep? Not necessary.
The “perfect” exercise? Probably doesn’t exist.
What mattered most?
Train consistently. Challenge your muscles. Progress over time.
For most adults, hitting the major muscle groups at least twice per week gets you a whole lot further than constantly chasing the newest workout trend.
Turns out the boring answer is still the good one:
Keep showing up. Get stronger. Repeat.
Which is convenient because we’ve been saying that for a while. 😏
💡 You don’t need perfect. You need consistent.
