Welcome to Made Possible Personal Training, Saint Petersburg's only Gym to focus on personal training for seniors!
We specialize in teaching busy men And women over 50 how to eat better, train your body the right way, and applying science into seeing results. We focus on rehabilitation of old injuries, loosing weight by being in tune with your body and not going on "crazy" diets, or even aging athletes looking to kick up their training!
Doctors often times give patients recommendations to exercise without specific instructions. Without a knowledgeable coach, exercising by yourself could lead to injury, no progress, and limited motivation.
This is where we step in.
We are a mix of trained professionals that have worked with rehabilitation patients in Physical Therapy clinics, athletes in the college and professional sports realm, special needs clients that need individualized training, and worked abroad learning new techniques in foreign countries! We have teamed up with the non-profit American Bone Health, and have been a resource for them on fitness for seniors to prevent falls and increase bone mineral density in the Tampa Bay Area. We provide balance testing to determine if you are at risk of falling. We also use a calculator to determine your bone fracture risk! We then use these tests to identify fall risks in your home and strengthen your muscles while also providing safety techniques on reducing risk of falling.

When Heather asked me what I wanted out of Personal Training, I said “health and fitness”. As an active senior, I need to avoid injuries while I play tennis and of course I always want to make sure my clothes fit well- without skimming over tummy rolls! They key for me has been increasing my strength workouts to twice a week. I know my Made Possible investment keeps my medical appointments to a minimum. I appreciate the way the whole team focuses on how you are feeling today, and how to help you feel better tomorrow. I work with both Heather and Taylor but their iPads keep good notes so I am always working towards the same goals whether virtually or in person. Thank you Heather, Taylor and Roger!
