On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. It’s a day to reflect, show gratitude, and recognize the sacrifices that have made our freedoms possible.
As we take this time to remember, it’s also a chance to slow down and take care of ourselves. Whether that means going for a long walk, getting in a light workout, or simply giving your body the rest it needs, do something that helps you reconnect. Movement is a form of gratitude too. It reminds us of what our bodies can do and gives us a moment to reset.
If today looks like a sweaty workout, great. If it looks like stretching on the back porch or soaking in some quiet, that’s great too. Recovery is part of the process. Giving your body space to heal is just as important as pushing through hard reps.
