Make sure you have a sturdy bar to hang from. Starting with a pull up grip, hang from the bar with your core engaged and legs extended out straight slightly ahead of you. Pull your shoulders down away from your ears to engage your lats then slowly release this movement. You should feel your lats engage as your pull down or in this case pull yourself up with your elbows straight. Think about your body in a “banana” to keep the core engagement and legs stiff.
