You’re Stronger Than You Think

You’re Stronger Than You Think!

Hey MPPTer’s~

Did you know…

Most women are way stronger than they give themselves credit for, and research backs it up.

A recent study found that more than half of gym goers underestimated how much weight they could lift for 10 reps. Women especially tended to play it safe. Only 12 to 28 percent of the women in the study were using a weight heavy enough to bring them close to real fatigue. That means the majority weren’t even tapping into their true strength potential.

What does that mean for you? That “hard” set you’ve been doing might just be your warm-up.

Strength training isn’t about maxing out every time. It’s about challenging your muscles enough to spark change. If you’re cruising through a set and could knock out five more reps, it’s probably time to go heavier.

Lifting with purpose builds more than just muscle. It builds confidence. It reminds you that you’re capable of more than you think, both in and out of the gym.

Next session, check in with yourself. Could you go heavier? Could you push a little further? You might surprise yourself.

Peace Love, & Muscles,

Tootsie
